A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, Zoe is an experienced flute performer and teacher. Her international career has led her to perform with orchestras and chamber ensembles in the UK, South America, Florida, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Zoe is also a dedicated teacher and advocate of music education for all ages. She is passionate about providing the perfect musical performance for your needs; creating the ideal ambiance for your event.

Biography…

Originally from Manchester, England, Zoe Goode began her musical studies on piano at age 7 and the flute at age 8. Zoe attended the Royal Academy of Music in London, graduating with a Bachelors 1st Class Honours Degree. She later achieved a Masters Degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London). Her orchestral training included involvement with both the Philharmonia and London Symphony Orchestra’s side-by-side young artist programs. She studied with such prominent teachers as Michael Cox, Clare Southworth and Philippa Davies and played in masterclasses for William Bennett, Peter Lloyd and Michel Debost amongst many others. Upon graduation, she performed with orchestras around the UK, including the BBC Philharmonic and the Hallé Orchestra, whilst maintaining a large teaching studio in London and Hertfordshire. She has broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and performed around the world with orchestras and chamber ensembles, including at the Aldeburgh Festival, England and prominent venues in Italy and Spain. In 2008 she won the position of Principal Piccolo with the Orquesta Filarmonica de Santiago in Santiago, Chile. Performing a year round schedule of opera, ballet, and symphonic repertoire, Zoe also appeared in several television commercials in Chile as well as actively performing with the Teatro Municipal Chamber Ensemble. After becoming a resident of the USA, Mrs. Goode has performed with orchestras throughout Florida and was a member of the teaching faculty at the Patel Conservatory. Zoe was Acting Principal Flute for the newly formed Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, a member of Chamber Music Hawaii and has played various positions for Hawaii Opera Theatre from 2012. She performed as Guest Principal with The Miami Symphony Orchestra for the 2012-2013 season and held the position of Principal Piccolo with the Hawaii Symphony from 2013 to 2015. Zoe is a faculty member of the newly established Miami Summer Music Festival in Miami, Florida.

Zoe has relocated back to the UK and is now combining her international work with performing and teaching in Cheshire.
